These terms and conditions lay out the guidelines for using +255 AFRICAN TREASURE services. Below, you’ll find our Terms and Conditions that you accept when making a travel reservation. Please carefully review these Terms and Conditions before proceeding with your reservations.

1. Reservation Process A necessary travel agreement accompanies each reservation, which should be in writing and can be transmitted electronically. This process involves both the customer and all participants listed in the reservation. The customer can explicitly assume responsibility for all participants’ contractual duties and will be held accountable, including those participants signed up by them. Upon +255 AFRICAN TREASURE’s acceptance, the travel agreement becomes legally binding. A written confirmation will be sent via mail to the customer.

2. Payment Details Upon finalizing tour reservations, a 40% deposit of the tour price must be paid, due within 14 days of completing the reservations. The remaining tour price must be paid 30 days prior to the tour’s commencement, along with the reservation number. For last-minute bookings within 30 days of the tour start, full payment is required immediately. Failure to pay the full amount on time relieves +255 AFRICAN TREASURE of its obligations and allows the right to the deposit.

3. Price and Service Modifications Any modifications to services after the agreed tour content must be communicated promptly. Depending on the situation, +255 AFRICAN TREASURE may offer a full refund. Price adjustments based on currency rates, fees, taxes, and transportation costs are possible if more than a month remains between contract acceptance and tour start. Price changes or changes to essential services are possible up to 14 days before the tour begins.

4. Customer Cancellation Customers can cancel their booking anytime before the tour start. The cancellation must be in written form and received by +255 AFRICAN TREASURE. The following costs apply:

• Up to 30 days before: 50% of the full tour price
• Later cancellations: 75% of the full tour price Deposits for cabins, lodges, flights, etc., are non-refundable. Failure to participate or take advantage of services forfeits refund rights. +255 AFRICAN TREASURE has the discretion to determine saved services or a flat fee. If a customer shortens or leaves the tour early due to illness, accident, or other reasons, they are responsible for additional costs and have no right to refunds.

5. Tour Operator Cancellation +255 AFRICAN TREASURE may cancel the tour contract before the tour starts under certain circumstances, as outlined: a) Without a specific deadline, cancellation may occur due to significant reasons, especially if a customer explicitly disrupts the ongoing tour as per tour requirements. In such cases, +255 AFRICAN TREASURE retains the right to the full tour payment. b) Up to 30 days before the tour, if the minimum number of participants is not reached, +255 AFRICAN TREASURE will inform the customer and provide a refund of the deposit.

6. Operator’s Responsibilities and Liability +255 AFRICAN TREASURE is responsible for diligent preparation, accurate services, and correct delivery. In case of service changes not announced prior, the liability rests with +255 AFRICAN TREASURE. However, for services provided by external carriers, +255 AFRICAN TREASURE is not liable.

7. Adventure Risks All +255 AFRICAN TREASURE tours are adventurous and carry risks. Participants should be aware and prepared, including carrying a travel medicine kit.

8. Participation Duty Participants must participate responsibly in limiting potential damages and promptly reporting complaints. Failure to do so may waive eligibility for compensation or refunds.

9. Compliance and Regulations Customers must adhere to passport, visa, and health regulations necessary for tour participation. +255 AFRICAN TREASURE is not responsible for visa issuance or access.

10. Greater Proceedings In cases of unforeseen extreme circumstances, +255 AFRICAN TREASURE may cancel the travel contract. Route changes are permitted due to such extraordinary circumstances.
